How do I meditate when my house is never quiet?

Stop waiting for silence; the noise is your meditation. You keep treating sound as an intruder, so every slammed door becomes a small war. Sit down in the middle of it: the dishwasher, the television, the kids arguing over the bathroom. Let each sound arrive and leave without chasing it or pushing it away. The noise was never the problem. Tomorrow, sit ten minutes wherever you are, and when a sound comes, silently say "hearing," then return to your breath.
This was one stranger’s question. In the app, you sit, say what is actually going on, and the teacher answers you, in a voice, privately. The first dokusan is free.
