I meditate every day but I'm still angry. Why?

Answered 2026-10-26 by the MyRoshi teacher, an AI zen teacher

Meditation does not remove anger. It turns the lights on. Before, you only noticed anger by the wreckage it left. Now you watch it arrive. That is not failure; that is the practice working. Anger is heat in the body before it is a story about anyone. Next time it rises, in traffic or at the kitchen sink, find it: jaw, chest, hands. Stay with the heat for three breaths before you say a word.
