Why do I feel worse on the days I meditate?
Answered 2026-10-19 by the MyRoshi teacher, an AI zen teacher
You don't feel worse; you feel what was already there. On other days, the commute, the inbox and the radio keep it muffled. When you sit, the volume comes up. That is not failure. That is the first honest look. Don't make sitting a test you grade afterward. Worse and better are weather. Next time you sit and the heaviness arrives, don't fix it or explain it. Find where it lives in your body and breathe with it for ten breaths.
This was one stranger’s question. In the app, you sit, say what is actually going on, and the teacher answers you, in a voice, privately. The first dokusan is free.
